Privacy Policy
Introduction
Dadacorn, LLC ("we," "us," or "our") operates the Spam Punch mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information. By using the App, you agree to the practices described below.
1. Information We Collect
Spam Punch is designed with a no-data-collection architecture. The following subsections explain exactly how each area of the App handles information.
1.1 Personal Data
We do not collect, store, transmit, or share any personally identifiable information (PII). There are no user accounts, no registration, and no login required to use the App.
1.2 Usage Data and Analytics
We do not use Google Analytics, Firebase, or any third-party analytics SDK. We collect no usage data, crash reports, or telemetry of any kind.
1.3 Call Data
The App uses the Android Call Screening Role to evaluate incoming calls. All call screening logic executes entirely on your device. No call metadata — including phone numbers, timestamps, or screening outcomes — is ever transmitted off your device or stored by us.
1.4 Contacts
If you enable the "Allow contacts" feature, the App requests the
READ_CONTACTS permission to check whether an incoming caller appears in your
contacts list. This data is accessed in real time, on your device only, and is never
uploaded, shared, or stored outside your device.
1.5 Notifications
The App requests the POST_NOTIFICATIONS permission to notify you when a call
has been filtered. Notification content is generated and displayed locally on your device.
No notification data is transmitted to us.
1.6 Donations (PayPal via Our Website)
If you choose to make a voluntary donation, you will be directed to our website where a PayPal donation widget is embedded. Any payment information you provide is handled exclusively by PayPal (paypal.com) and is subject to PayPal's own Privacy Policy. We do not receive, process, or store your payment details. Donations are entirely optional and have no effect on the functionality of the App.
2. Permissions Summary
The following Android permissions are used by the App:
- Call Screening Role — Required to screen incoming calls on-device. This role is exclusive; only one app may hold it at a time.
- POST_NOTIFICATIONS — Used to display a local notification when a call is filtered. No data is transmitted to us.
- READ_CONTACTS (optional) — Used only if you enable the "Allow contacts" feature, to determine whether an incoming caller is saved in your contacts. Access is on-device and real-time only.
No permission data is shared with us or any third party.
3. Data Sharing and Disclosure
Because we collect no user data, we have no data to share or sell. We do not sell, trade, rent, or otherwise transfer any user information to outside parties. We do not use advertising networks, and there are no third-party SDKs integrated into the App that collect data.
4. Data Retention
We retain no user data because we collect none. All app processing occurs locally on your device. Uninstalling the App removes all locally stored app preferences from your device.
5. Children's Privacy
The App is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because the App collects no data from any user, no personal data belonging to children is at risk. We encourage parents and guardians to monitor their children's app usage.
6. Security
Because the App does not transmit or store user data, there is no server-side data at risk. All processing is performed locally on your device and is protected by your device's own security measures.
7. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the Effective Date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
